Below are the on-line Scioence Fiction stories of Bob Liddil.
Here is a Bibliography of his work
A Pinkerton Inspector is called in to investigate the suspicious death of an experienced safari guide. Clues quickly reveal that this is a homicide. On Kilgari, business is everything, and murder is bad for business. Now, Inspector Kruger must decypher fact from fiction among the alien members of the safari. He must decide whatdunnit.
This story first appeared in Mike Resnick's wonderful anthology, "WHATDUNNITS." Mike paid me the compliment of my life just by accepting it for publication. I have not so enjoyed a setting and characters quite so much as Inspector Kruger and his little band of suspects. Told in Kruger's own words, it is an adventure for young or old mystery buffs.
Cerberus Reborn*
Things have been pretty peaceful on Kilgari, up until now. Inspector Kruger still hates being awakened in the dark AM. The tube still cars run on time. And a new dome graces the far side of the asteroid, the home of a mysterious research project called the Hades gate. As you might imagine, these situations never occur during normal working hours, so it's coffee and adrenaline time after Dr. Kishu Yamato reveals that Cerberus is dead and the Hades gate is now unguarded.
*This story was written in January 2004 and is in current submission to a SF Magazine. If it is bought, It will come back on-line after the publication date assigned to it.
